Edmund and Lucy Pevensie return to Narnia with their unpleasant cousin Eustace through an enchanted painting of a ship. They are reunited with Caspian and Reepicheep for a journey across the sea aboard the royal ship The Dawn Treader in search of the seven swords belonging to the seven Lords banished by Caspian's uncle Miraz. Amongst the dangers they encounter along the way are slavers, a green mist, a dragon and dufflepuds. Temptations lie everywhere and in particular in Goldwater Cave. They endure raging storms and a battle with a sea serpent before reaching the edge of the world that is the home of Aslan, the King of all Narnia.
